Where:
Sheet Metal Workers Hall
1301 S. Colombus Blvd.
Philadelphia PA 19147
Tickets:
Seating at breakfast: $60 per individual, $600 per table of ten.
Worker fatalities and traumatic injuries in 2018 continued to be high in the tri-state area. In general, going to work continues to be far too dangerous for many workers. Sadly, we have also witnessed the rollback or delay in implementation of many OSHA regulations under the new Administration. And Pennsylvania public sector workers still have no legislation granting them the OSHA rights that private sector workers have.
This year we will be again joined by family members from the area who lost a loved one from a work-related traumatic injury or disease. And of course the many unionists and community and health and safety activists who recognize this day as a time to reflect on the need to continue demanding that our worksites remain safe and healthy.
Please register with PhilaPOSH no later than Wednesday, April 17, 2019. We look forward to your participation in this year's program.
